  1. Ezekiel 23:2 Son of man This was usually just a way of saying “a person” or “a human being.” Here, it is a way of addressing Ezekiel. Also in verse 36.
  2. Ezekiel 23:4 Oholah This name means “Tent.” It probably refers to the Holy Tent where the people of Israel went to worship God.
  3. Ezekiel 23:4 Oholibah This name means “My Tent is in her country.” Also in verses 18, 21.
